Trump ratchets up call for DOJ to investigate Hillary Clinton

On Friday, President Donald Trump asked the Justice Department to investigate Hillary Clinton for her dishonesty and writing that 'the American public deserves it' on his Twitter account. Trump on his Twitter account said that everyone is asking the reason why the Justice Department and the FBI are not looking at the dishonesty done by Hillary and the Democrats. He also mentioned the excerpt of former interim Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile's book that will be published on Thursday.

The President continued to ask questions; asking about all the deleted emails, uranium, the serves, Podesta and others. He said that people are angry and the Justice Department and the FBI need to do what is right as the public deserves to know the truth. He also asked the FBI to conduct investigations into his political opponents with the special prosecutor Robert Mueller probe can be a possibility of collision between Trump and the Russian government who were interfering with the 2016 election. Trump along with his allies have in the past wanted to downplay these indictments that also includes charges being filed against the president's former campaign chairman Paul Manafort. The president wants to draw everyone's attention to Clinton and their controversies that he claims have been uncovered by the media who are against him.

One of the scandals that Trump expects that the investigation must be started is Clinton's use of the private email server during her tenure as the Secretary of the State which is already under investigation. Even though it was revealed that Clinton was not careful while using the email server, no charges can be filed against her. Even after no criminal charges were filed, Trump brings up the scandal during his entire campaign trail to show how untruthful and untrustworthy she is.

Another accusation of Trump against Clinton is that the Democratic primary process was rigged to be in favor of Clinton. This was fuelled by the allegations that the DNC was controlled by Clinton's campaigner and the DNC received financial contributions for it. During an interview with radio host Larry O'Connor, Trump had admitted that he was unhappy that there was a gap between the Justice Department and the President that has left his hands tied and he can do nothing about it. He said that all he wants is Clinton to be investigated for the charges so that everyone can know the truth.
