Military forces of the United States of America flew two strategic bombers over the Korean peninsula just for the show of force late on Tuesday. This is per the discussion between the president of the United States, Donald Trump and top-ranked defense officials about how to respond to any kind of threat from North Korea. A US Air Force B-1B Lancer which was assigned to the 37th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron had taken off yesterday for a bilateral mission with the South Korean and Japanese Air Force that flew around the region of the Sea of Japan from Andersen Air Force Base, Guam. Tensions have risen to a great extent between the United States and North Korea because of a series of nuclear weapons testing by North Korea and a constant exchange of words, full of aggression along with a willingness to fight between Donald Trump and the leader of North Korea Kim Jong Un.
North Korea had launched two missiles over Japan for the conduction of its sixth nuclear tests in the recent weeks which is very rapidly advancing towards its aim of developing a nuclear tipped missile that is capable of hitting the mainland of the United States of America. The two Air Force B-1B bombers from the United States were joined by the two F-15K fighters from the military of South Korea after leaving their base in Guam. This is per the statement of Joint Chief of Staff of South Korea on Wednesday. The release said that after entering the airspace of South Korea, the two bombers carried out air-to-ground missile drills in waters off the east coast of South Korea. After that, they flew over the South to waters between it and China for the repetition of the drill.
The military of the United States said that it mentioned in a different statement that the two fighter planes conducted its drills with the Japanese fighters and then it conducted the same exercise with the South Korean fighters. This was the first time US bombers have conducted such training with fighters from both South Korea and Japan at night. The bombers of the United States had taken off from Andersen Air Force Base in Guam for the conduction of this particular training with the fighters from Japan and South Korea.
